What makes a report easy to fix.
- 1Which calculator you were using.
- 2The numbers and options you entered, and whether in inches or centimeters.
- 3The result you got, and the result you expected.
- 4Where your expected number comes from, such as your pattern or a book.

A screenshot helps too, if you have one.
Do you reply to every email?
Every message is read by a person. Reports of a wrong result are answered first, then questions and ideas.
Can you make a calculator for my pattern?
We cannot build tools for a single pattern, but if many quilters need the same math, it goes on the list. Tell us what you are working out and how you do it now.
Is there a phone number or postal address?
QuiltHelper is run online, so email is the best and quickest way to reach us.
Can I link to a calculator from my blog or class notes?
Yes, please do. You can link to any page and quote short passages with credit. See our terms of use for details.
